The miniature garden ( the surprise) is coming along and I have posted pictures of it. It is a big garden and may one day have a train. I still have a lot of work to do there, I need to build sidewalks, stairs, little signs and more people. Yes, I am making my own people. I sit and make them at night while we watch TV. They are small the tallest are just over 2 inches so I have decided not to give them faces, I kind of like them that way. You will notice in the pictures that it is covered with bird netting, over blue hoops. That is because I have cats that live in my garden, and you know what fresh turned soil is to them. They can be a challenge for all of my gardening. I have thought about adding a page about it and calling it Gardening With Cats. I have several tips I could share from my years of experience. Richard has been working hard on the brick sidewalk and it is looking good. I have also posted pictures of that, so be sure to check out the Garden page to look them over. Oh! I fixed the picture problem by using Richards camera, it works fine.
My name is Pat and I have been gardening most of my life. My husband Richard helps out with the heavy stuff. I love butterflies and have a Monarch Waystation. I also love animals and have cats, dogs, horses, angora goats, chickens and guineas.
