The greenhouse is one of my favorite things! When it is cold an miserable outside you can step into the greenhouse and find yourself in the tropics. There is always something blooming there and right now the BIRD OF PARADISE  is beginning to bloom. I counted five blossoms today. I wish I did not have to have the leaves bound up but it just takes too much room to have its leaves down. sometimes it starts blooming in late August but usually it begins to bloom around this time and continues to spring. I am the only one who gets to enjoy this beautiful display. This year I will be taking lots of pictures as I have never had so many blooms at one time.
I am going to try very hard and post more often here with pictures from the greenhouse and my plans for next years garden.

My name is Pat and I have been gardening most of my life. My husband Richard helps out with the heavy stuff. I love butterflies and have a Monarch Waystation. I also love animals and have cats, dogs, horses, angora goats, chickens and guineas.
