I got more stone for the new flower bed but having hurt my knee the day before I was finding it very hard to move them from the driveway to the garden. Then my wonderful husband sent one of his construction workers over and he moved every one of them, setting them all in place. They even brought in soil to fill it! I wish I had garden help like that every day. This bed is a secret for now but I am very excited to get working on it. It is a garden and art project all rolled into one.

I bought some pansies today, my car was filled with their sweet perfume. I also cleaned out the waterfall filter not such a sweet smell there. It is still too wet to do much in the garden and they are calling for more rain possibly with severe storms. I hope I can get the stone I need before it rains at least then I could work on that raised bed.
It is so good to see the sun! It's still a muddy mess in the garden but the sun will soon dry things out. The pond needs work so I will be cleaning the filter, scooping out elm seeds and feeding the lilies. There are always things to do in the garden. I have a bench that needs new boards too and more stones to set in the new flower bed. The cats are happy to see the sun too and spent the day napping on the gar
We have had a lot of rain in the last few days. Parts of my garden are under water, it will be a while before I can get back to work out there. I guess I will have to be satisfied to sit inside and make plans, what to plant where etc.

Spring has arrived early here this year. Daffodils and hyacinths are in full bloom and I have even had a water lilly bloom. I have been very busy working on a new garden feature, moving lots of dirt and heavy stones. Garden work can be good exercise, and I will be in great shape in no time at this rate.
